Achilleas Papadopoulos is a partner of the firm. He holds a LL.B. and a LL.M. with distinction from the University of Athens School of Law.
Achilleas specializes in legal drafting and review of civil and commercial contracts, together with their security, collateral, and side-agreements and letters, and other related legal documents. He also regularly provides advice, opinions, and overall legal support to credit and financial institutions, as well as trading and technology companies, on representation, day-to-day operations and management, regulatory compliance, corporate civil and regulatory liability, and modern or complex forms of financing and related collateralization.
Achilleas has many years of practical and diversified experience in handling and litigating civil, commercial, corporate and banking cases, with a focus on a speedy, satisfactory resolution. He has successfully represented, both in- and out-of-court, a large number of Greek and foreign companies, and he also represents our clients before regulators and supervisors.
Achilleas has contributed to the two-volume Commentary to the Greek Civil Code (edited by N. Leontis, ed. 2020) and to the Draft Templates of the Greek Civil Procedure Code (edited by N. Leontis, ed. 2022), both published by Nomiki Vivliothiki. He has also given seminars on “Practical application of tort law: examples and developments in case law” (2018), as a co-speaker, and “Personal and in rem collateral on non-RE assets and claims” (2021), as single speaker, both with a leading private education platform (Nomiki Vivliothiki).
